What the petition asks
This petition is to remove the danger, used for drone testing, area around Llanbedr to allow a safe passage North South without crossing mountains or far out to sea.
To allow safe passage for GA pilots through the air space around Llanbedr. This air space is a road block disconnecting North and South Wales for VFR pilots.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about Danger Areas in UK airspace are an operational matter for the Civil Aviation Authority, which is operationally independent.
In any case, we can’t accept petitions that request action at a local level.
You could ask your MP to take action on your concerns about this issue, including by asking them to present a public (paper) petition about this.
