What the petition asks
Create a system to separate reasons for insurance cancellations to allow for providers to differentiate between people trying to gain from insurance fraud and people making genuine mistakes
Introduce a mandatory 3 stage system to easily show the reasons for cancellations.
Stage 1: genuine accidents such as lost black box, apps not working, payment missed 2 maximum etc.
Stage 2: knowingly reporting incorrect information such as address, named driver experience, NCB.
Stage 3: trying to defraud the Insurance provider. ie, falsely reporting a car as stolen, arson, purposely causing a crash.
All above are examples and can be adjusted.
