Review and reform the judicial complaints process

What the petition asks
We believe the current complaint process makes it too difficult to complain about poor behaviour by judges. We think the examples of what complaints the Judicial Conduct Investigations Office (JCIO) can and can't investigate are contradictory, and too restrictive.
We believe the family courts, where cases take place in private, are in crisis, and that many parties to cases suffer as a result of poor behaviour by judges, but are unable to seek redress because of restrictions on the complaints that can be investigated by the JCIO. We want the Government to review and reform the judicial complaints process, to increase opportunities from people who feel wronged by the judicial process to complain.
