Review diplomatic relations with Hong Kong

What the petition asks
The UK has engaged in diplomatic relations with Hong Kong representatives under the Vienna Convention of Consular Relations. In light of recent events, we want the Government to review diplomatic relations with Hong Kong.
We are concerned that there is an ongoing erosion of Hong Kong's autonomy and rights, and that China is consistently violating the Sino-British Joint Declaration and disregarding the rule of law.
Following what we see as the death of the “One Country, Two Systems” principle we want the UK to review diplomatic relations with Hong Kong, including the diplomatic privileges held by the Hong Kong representatives in the UK.
