Hold a referendum on leaving the European Convention on Human Rights

What the petition asks
We call upon the Government to hold a referendum on leaving the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR). We believe the people should be given a say.
We believe the Brexit referendum made it clear that we do not want judgments and rulings that have no democratic mandate. We think the ECHR continues to undermine parliamentary sovereignty and our democratic processes. We believe the time has come to give the people their say on our membership of the ECHR.
Give the people an in/out referendum on membership of the ECHR.
Give the people an in/out referendum on membership of the ECHR.
