Ban the use of Prong Collars

What the petition asks
Prohibit the use of prong collars on dogs. These are aversive ‘tools’ that individuals and some dog trainers use to prevent a dog pulling or lunging.
They work by causing discomfort/pain and can cause injury. They can cause physical and psychological damage and can worsen reactivity in dogs.
To prevent suffering. Causing pain to a dog is not only unethical but can make it more likely that a dog will react aggressively as it may associate certain things with pain.
