Put a food bank in airports
Rejected
12 signatures
What the petition asks
Put a food bank in airports so when people leave they can donate food instead of binning it and wasting food that could be beneficial to someone.
As whenever I go on holiday, we buy a bunch of food and majority ends up not eaten and having to be thrown in the bin. I was thinking I would love if I could donate it somewhere and potentially if England started implementing food banks at airports other airports could follow and hopefully help less fortunate people.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about whether to have food donation points are a matter for individual businesses, not the UK Government or Parliament.
