Provide funding to lower the cost of train fares

What the petition asks
We want the Government to take action to significant reduce the cost of train fares.
Cost of living, rent, petrol, bills and more are going up. This also includes train fares. Why should people be expected to pay £100+ for travel?
Train drivers and other staff engage in strike action, but expect a pay increase, yet the public face high prices for often unreliable services.
We want the Government to do something now! Help us!
