Demand for Complete and Immediate Reform of the Education System

Rejected 9 signatures

What the petition asks

We demand a change to ensure the Educational System becomes a truly inclusive, nurturing and confidence building institution where needs and struggles are validated, children are able to express themselves, and are supported to nurture their strengths throughout their school career.
Sticking plaster"solutions" won't fix archaic, outdated systems failing pupils, parents/carers, staff & communities. A disillusioned government remains ignorant to struggles & arrogant to really listen to what we have to say. Leaving us dependant on broken support services not fit for purpose

A wonderfully diverse range of individuals, talents & abilities are stripped of their uniqueness by an outdated, performance led & test heavy "one-fits-all" education

Change the system, solve the problems

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you are concerned about the current education system, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.

If there aren't specific changes you want to request, you could call on the Government to review the education system, with a view to identifying how this could be reformed to achieve the outcomes you want to see.
