Do not remove British citizenship from UK-born dual nationals

What the petition asks
We do not want the Government to remove British citizenship from UK-born dual nationals. UK-born dual citizens can be deprived of their British citizenship. We believe this creates a sense of mistrust among immigrant communities and alienates them from the British state.
There are effectively two classes of British citizenship, and only dual nationals can be deprived of citizenship this way. We think that UK-born dual nationals should always retain their right to British citizenship, and that it is in the public interest that UK citizens with dual nationalities should have their citizenship protected.
