What the petition asks
We want the Government to ban meat cultivated in labs to protect this country's farmers. Allowing lab-grown meat could result in food in the food chain that differs significantly from traditional meat from live stock.
We want the Government to protect our culture and our people rather than enabling a new industry.
The health of the people of this country should come first, and we are concerned that lab-grown meat could pose health risks.
We also need to protect our farms and the farming life that jobs depend on.
