What the petition asks
Start making a change to make social media a safer place especially for teenagers and young peoole
It’s a hard place for teenagers, I believe changing the law on social media would make a huge difference. It would stop fake accounts and trolling as people would think about what they was doing if they wasn’t anonymous. People would also be able to be hold accountable for bad behaviour on social media.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
You may wish to sign this petition which calls for the same action: Make photo ID compulsory for to set up/continue to use a social media account
