What the petition asks
We want the Government to adopt the recommendations from the British Red Cross report 'We want to be strong, but we don't have the chance: women's experiences of seeking asylum in the UK'.
The report advocates for female asylum seekers to contribute to the reframing of asylum seeker policy, as they have expert experience.
We want the Government to consult female asylum seekers on their experience of the healthcare sector to ensure their rights and access to healthcare are upheld across NHS services, such as maternity services.
