CPR, recovery position and important first aid to be taught throughout school

What the petition asks

Add essential first aiding to curriculum. Sex education is taught throughout the years, and so should essential first aid/cpr/recovery position.
Basic first aid, cpr and recovery position saves lives, yet barely anyone gets taught it except for first aid courses. Some people were taught the recovery position in yr6. No one knows when someone may need CPR, and it is crucial in saving/preserving someones life until paramedics can arrive. With how badly the NHS is struggling, and with ambulance services being a long wait, having someone perform CPR will save someones life until paramedics can eventually arrive. It cant be taught online.

Why it was rejected

The UK Government or Parliament was already taking the action it asked for.

How to administer CPR is already part of the health curriculum for secondary schools, which you can see on page 38 of the curriculum guidance here:
