What the petition asks
After visiting the education centre, which was lengthy there was no opportunity to sit debrief and rehydrate. We feel this would also benefit employees there.
To provide vising schools a area with refreshments to share their experience.
Why it was rejected
It was about an operational decision of a public body, which petitions cannot cover.
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about refreshment areas are a matter for the Parliamentary Education Centre, rather than a decision about policy or legislation that is made by the Government or Parliament.
