Require employers to notify unsuccessful job candidates and give feedback
Closed

What the petition asks
Implement a law where if someone applies for a job and they are not successful, the applicant is notified of this by the prospective employer with relevant feedback.
I (and I’m sure other people) have been to interviews before and they have gone brilliantly, been told I will hear back the next week then not hearing anything back. Some people can hold out for certain jobs they need and/or want just to then be ignored by the employer. They may have really needed said job and they may have gone to said job for an interview as well as turning down other offers. They may then be unsuccessful without knowing, potentially putting them into financial trouble.
