What the petition asks
Cross Gates Post Office has been identified as one of the remaining Crown Post Offices that could be transferred or closed altogether.
This must not be allowed to happen, and instead Post Office must invest in local branches that provide an essential set of services.
This must not be allowed to happen, and instead Post Office must invest in local branches that provide an essential set of services.
This is a busy and well used branch which provides essential services and support to residents in the area, which has seen the closure of many other banks and other services.
Many cannot travel to other nearby offices, and having the cash management services in our locality supports businesses around the area as well as residents.
Post Office services must stay open and accessible in Cross Gates.
