What the petition asks
The Government should reverse the idea of winding down the National Citizen Service programme due to the value it has had and will continue to have on the younger generation. N.C.S is a programme dedicated to building the youth of tomorrow & giving them valuable life experience
This programme was instated in 2009 has benefitted hundreds of thousands of youths if not more to become more social able, confident and gives them a chance to explore the UK. Leading on from this, this programme also bonds the communities together as this programme brings everyone together from different backgrounds & ethnicities making it a very diverse programme to have. Finally this also helps people who find it hard to make friends or get out in to the world to try new and different things.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
