What the petition asks
In R (on the application of LR (Afghanistan)) v SSHD (Ukrainian Family Scheme—discrimination, nationality) [2024] UKUT 00236 (IAC), the court ruled that refusing his application for failing to meet the requirement to be a Ukrainian national was direct discrimination on the grounds of nationality.
Equal Rights and Protection: We urge the government to ensure that all, regardless of nationality, are treated equitably under UK law.
