Petition

Save Cricklewood's Post Office.

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

We want Parliament to: Raise the Issue in Debate: MP to bring the matter to Parliament by participating in debates, highlighting the community’s needs and the post office’s role.

Sign this petition to show your support and urge decision-makers to keep our post office open!
Parliamentarians to put pressure on Post Office, local councils, or the government overseeing postal services to avoid closure. Advocate for additional public funds or subsidies, particularly if it serves a vulnerable population. Push for legislation or funding that facilitates community ownership or co-operative management to save key local facilities. Campaign for stronger oversight of decisions affecting essential services to stop closures without a thorough assessment of community impact.

Why it was rejected

It was about a matter for a local council or devolved government, not the UK Government or Parliament.

We can’t accept petitions that request action at a local level.

You could ask your MP to take action on your concerns about this issue, including by asking them to present a public (paper) petition about this.
