Petition

Abolish the high rentals within Britain. Make them realistic.

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

The majority of working people spend nearly all their earning on just to put a roof over them and their children's heads. But, not seen as worthy for a mortgage which is in some cases half of the rent paid per calander month.
This really needs to be challenged and, reviews in depth to assist a high volume of Britain's struggling. How can it be that rent of house/flats/apartments, even just a room has to be so tough to only pay this out of people's hard earned cash. Not to mention, those that have multiple jobs only to pay the bills - not to actually live!

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you are concerned about the price of property rentals, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do about the issue.
