Require schools to prioritise siblings over catchment area in admission policies

What the petition asks
Require schools to prioritise the admission of siblings of existing students, before catchment area criteria, in their admission policies. I believe it is crucial for parents to have the reassurance that their children, especially siblings, will be able to attend the same school.
I believe that with the cost of living, the added burden of driving to multiple schools to collect children should not be another concern for families. In my view, the potential stress of having to appeal school placement decisions, especially when it becomes nearly impossible to coordinate pick-ups from multiple locations, is a significant challenge.
I think such a change could help greatly reduce the logistical challenges many parents face and help provide them with greater peace of mind.
