Require care providers to reimburse care workers for use of personal vehicles

What the petition asks
We would like an issue of significant financial concern to be addressed regarding the use of personal vehicles for domiciliary care workers. While carers are dedicated to delivering quality care, we believe many face an undue financial burden for work-related vehicle use.
We would like care providers to be required to reimburse carers for:
1.vehicle maintenance and repairs: many carers use their personal vehicles extensively for work yet are responsible for maintenance and repair costs caused by high mileage and wear-and-tear.
2. Insurance: carers may pay higher premiums for business insurance, with no financial support.
3. Mileage at an appropriate level, taking into account fuel costs: we think currently mileage rates are often too low.
