Make MP recall rules stricter

What the petition asks
I propose that any MP who receives a criminal conviction or is found to have broken the parliamentary code of conduct must be removed from their post. The party of the dismissed MP would be barred from nominating a candidate in the byelection.
We feel the level of trust in British politics has become so poor that the electorate feel that there is no way of holding corrupt or law-breaking Public Servants to account.
We think party politics will always find a way to protect these individuals. We think that by putting in place the measures would put the punishment of disgraced MPs is in the hands of the constituency and not the party.
