Petition
Stop all MPs energy allowance
Rejected
12 signatures
What the petition asks
Following the cutting of the Winter Fuel allowance I believe that MPs Energy allowance should also be cut from the £3400 to ZERO as they don't meet any of the conditions applied to the pensioners
The general public cover all costs for there Energy but MPs are allowed to claim upto £3400/annum whilst being salaried at £91,000. In line with the winter fuel allowance the MPs should have there £3400 allowance removed.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
