Put Voluntary, Community & Social Enterprise centrally in any reform of the NHS.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

This petition calls on the Government to Include the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise sector in any reform of the NHS, noting that these local and non-profit services do so much to cover gaps, bring innovation and support local people in their health and wellbeing.
The Voluntary, Community & Social Enterprise sector (VCSE) provide vital and essential health and wellbeing services in local communities.
For example in Sheffield, VCSE groups have banded together in an alliance (Synergy Sheffield) to collaborate in mental health services & work with Primary and Secondary care (plus Local Council.)
This work has proven to be:
a) Cost effective
b) Locally owned & delivered
c) Place service users at it's heart
d) Deliver results and high quality services.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
