Cyclists when using public roads should be subject to, and bound by the same Road Traffic Act and Highway Code that motorists are.
ALL road users should be obliged to understand, recognise and adhere to traffic signals and signage and have Lighting and other forms of hi-visibility at night

Government have for years promoted cycling and given cyclists greater priority on the roads, but have failed to address Cyclists lack of adherence to the Law or suitably considered the Duty of Care that is owed to their Health & Safety and that of other road users.
