Make it a legal requirement for all landlords to hold valid buildings insurance

We believe mandatory buildings insurance would ensure that necessary repairs are funded without placing tenants’ safety and financial security at risk. We think it would also protect local authorities and emergency services from shouldering undue burdens if uninsured damages lead to unsafe conditions.
