What the petition asks

I would like the Government to make the BBC a subscription only service, which will give the people a choice, rather than an enforced Tax.
There are several streaming services which offer far better value for money. It’s time for the BBC to modernise and offer choices, if this means advertising on their channels so be it. Forcing people to pay a tax for their service is unfair and outdated.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
