What the petition asks
discuss and debate in UK Parliament about the needs and rights of Indian Diaspora ( Overseas Citizens of India lining in the United Kingdom and in other countries) and allowing them to acquire Dual Citizenship.
There are many thousands of Indian Diaspora communities living in the United Kingdom and they have contributed imminently both to the United Kingdom and India.
They cannot:
1. Vote in Indian Elections
2. They cannot contest in Indian Elections
3. They cannot take up or hold Government jobs or Government position
4. The cannot buy agricultural or plantation properties

Why it was rejected
