21 signatures
What the petition asks
Take action within the construction industry. To give better pay to bricklayers and reform pay structures
The bricklaying industry has taken a massive hit since COVID and we now have to do 5x the work for less pay we have to do ridiculous amounts of unpaid work satisfy local and external building inspectors ie. NHBC and the pay is constantly falling quarter by quarter
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Decisions about wages are a matter for employers, not the UK Government or Parliament.
