What the petition asks
I want schools to teach kids basic first aid like CPR
I want the government to teach all children basic first aid so when they leave school they have the tools to save a life, I believe this will save many people from needless deaths.
Why it was rejected
The UK Government or Parliament was already taking the action it asked for.
How to administer CPR is already part of the health curriculum for secondary schools, which you can see on page 38 of the curriculum guidance here:
