Climate policies: do more to engage and consider impacts on disabled people

What the petition asks
I would like the Government to do more to explicitly consider and consult disabled people in its development of climate change policies.
They weren't mentioned in the Nationally Determined Contribution. I believe this is against international human rights laws.
I demand that the government includes and engages disabled people in the decision-making processes around climate change policy.
In the UK it’s estimated there are 16.1 million disabled people. Disabled people are more at risk in the climate crisis.
Neglecting including disabled people in climate mitigation policies means ignoring the meaningful contributions disabled people could make.
