Define what an MP’s job is.

What the petition asks
I want the government to define what they are paid to do (other than making laws and applying taxes, particularly what a local MP is accountable for and what their actual job is.
An MP is elected to office and paid, paid to employ staff but with no job description and no compunction to assist their constituency at all.
I believe there should be a basic job description to which an MP’s performance can be measured against eg responding to constituents’ requests, supporting local issues and acting in the benefit of their own constituents.
