Stop bookmakers from banning or restricting customers

What the petition asks
Ban bookmakers from restricting or banning customers for winning or using strategy. We urge the government to introduce rules ensuring licensed bookmakers honour fair stakes for all, promoting fairness and transparency in the UK betting industry and protecting punters.
We believe that bookmakers exploit restrictions to avoid payouts which could target skilled punters while profiting from unsophisticated customers. We feel that this practice creates an unfair playing field. We want regulations to stop licensed bookmakers from banning or limiting strategic bettors which could help ensure accountability and true competition in betting. We feel the current practice discourages informed betting and punish success. We think that clear regulations could prevent abuse, promote fairness, and rebuild trust between bookmakers and their customers.
