Petition

Support uni/college students with loans/public transport

Rejected 14 signatures

What the petition asks

Financially support students struggling with student loans and public transport.
If students are worrying about their loans and the money they owe, they won’t be focusing on their studies which will result in them dropping school because of their wellbeing. Also, public transport impacts their education because it’s unreliable.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

We are also very sorry if you or someone you know is experiencing challenges relating to university student loans or transport costs.

If you are looking for support with your university student loan and transport costs, we recommend speaking to Citizen's Advice: https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/ Additionally, we recommend reaching out to your college or university to seek advice and support.

If you're concerned about your own or a loved one's mental health, find out how you can get help from a mental health charity or organisation here: https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/mental-health-services/

You may also wish to start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
