What the petition asks
We think men’s mental health is in crisis. Suicide is the leading cause of death for men under 50 in the UK, with over 75% of suicides being men. We believe stigma, cultural pressures, and lack of awareness stop some men from seeking help. .
We think that without action, more lives could be lost, and families devastated
To address this, We think we need:
1. Funding for men’s mental health services.
2. Campaigns to normalise seeking help.
3. Education teaching boys it’s okay to talk about emotions.
4. Easier access to resources through a central platform.
5. Peer mentoring to connect men with shared experiences.
We believe by acting now, we can save lives, break stigma, and build a culture where men feel supported to seek help.
