Introduce a parking badge system for parents to use parent and child bays.

What the petition asks
Introduce a parking badge similar to the Blue Badge Scheme to regulate the use of parent and child bays, to prevent others without young children from using, making misuse illegal.
Individuals who use these bays but who do not genuinely need them take away from the parents the option of a safe place to park with children, this makes it much harder for parents to get children out without damaging their own or other vehicles.
Children use rear facing car seats until much later now, which makes it harder to get them safely in and out of the vehicle and standard bays do not allow a safe space to set up and get children into a pram
