Petition
Stop the delay of local elections in Surrey.

What the petition asks
The local elections in Surrey are being postponed to expedite the devolution of local government. We want to stop the delay and hold elections as originally scheduled.
The local elections postponement is a way for current government to devolve local authorities faster which will be detrimental to the quality of service provided to residents and ensure the devolution goes ahead without opposition. We feel.that the residents should have a say in how local government is structured and have the opportunity to oppose it.
