Change the switch back to British Summer Time (BST) to approx 1st March

What the petition asks
Change the time we switch to BST to the beginning of March so that we benefit from the longer days and lighter evenings in March.
We believe the spring change to BST is far too late.
Unlike the lag in seasonal temperatures, sunlight is symmetrical around the solstice. So why do we change in the autumn at the end of Oct, less than 8 weeks before the winter solstice, but then we don’t change back again until the end of March 13 weeks after the solstice? At the end of October the morning light time is 6:45am, we reach this point again at the end of February.
We believe moving back to BST a month earlier would boost the economy and wellbeing.
