What the petition asks
We ask the Government to:
1. Increase funds for Hepatitis B research, treatment, & early detection.
2. Launch a national awareness campaign targeting high-risk groups.
3. Implement routine Hepatitis B screening for at-risk people.
4. Ensure timely access to medical care for Hepatitis B patients.

Thousands may unknowingly live with undiagnosed Hepatitis B, potentially discovering it too late for effective intervention. Despite available vaccines and treatments, we are concerned the UK government has failed to address the issue with minimal public health campaigns, no routine screening for at-risk groups, and inconsistent care for those diagnosed. Hepatitis B is the most common risk factor for liver cancer, and without early detection, the progression to liver cancer may be inevitable.
