Petition
To implement a mandatory dog licensing programme alongside a DNA database
Rejected
14 signatures
What the petition asks
This initiative would not only promote responsible pet ownership but also address the ongoing issue of dog waste in public spaces.
By requiring dog owners to register their pets and submit a DNA sample, we can create a system that accurately identifies the owners of dogs that fail to be cleaned up after. With this database in place, owners can be effectively fined, incentivising pet owners to take responsibility for their animals' waste.
