Petition

Introduce British equality laws

Rejected 17 signatures

What the petition asks

Introduce specific laws which force equal representation of British people in the UK workforce
While there are equality laws these tend to focus on equal representation of ethnic minorities. We need specific laws which address the current disproportionate representation of British people in the UK workforce. In practice this means employers must recruit a fair proportion of British people in its workforce

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure what you mean by "equal representation of British people", or what exactly you would like the Government or Parliament to do.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
