Petition

Police To Issue Amber Alerts For Local Missing Children Within 24 Hours

Rejected 9 signatures

What the petition asks

Any child under 16 missing for more than 24 hours; regardless of previously ‘running away’ should be taken seriously by the police, amber alerts should be sent out to every phone within a 50 mile radius of the child’s last known location, and all police social media should appeal for information.
A child recently went missing, 12 years old; for over 48 hours. she was found but was not in a safe environment for the 48 hours, and police issued no appeal to find her. The only reason she was found was due to the public and her family posting to find her.

Why it was rejected
