What the petition asks
Since the 80's, wealth, has mainly been distributed, straight to the top, in tax cuts, etc. This money should be spent on the most vulnerable in our country, including a well funded NHS, a decent level of state pension, well funded Communities, and real Social Care.
British workers pay income tax into the system, all of their working lives, and sometimes in retirement. The money spent by government, is not their money, it's our money and should be spent to uphold all our vital services, including a decent State pension for our elderly generation, Community Care, and Social Care.
