We indulge the Government to reconsider&amend the policy on dependents in the UK from the Visa. It creates significant emotional, social, &practical hardships for us, ultimately affecting our ability to provide High-Quality Care, Worker Retention, & causing Family Separation, Emotional Strain,
We respectfully call on the UK Government to
*Allow dependents of H&C worker visa holders(SOC 6135) stay with them in the UK
*Recognise the importance of family unity & its role in the mental wellbeing of care workers
*Acknowledge the positive impact that supporting families will have on care worker retention & the quality of care provided
*Prioritise the wellbeing of care workers & their families, recognising that happy & healthy workforce is essential for the success of UK’s healthcare system
