Petition
Ban smartphones usage at schools in the UK.

What the petition asks
We, the undersigned, call on the UK Government to introduce legislation that prohibits smartphones from being used in all primary and secondary schools nationwide by students.
Smartphone usage among children has been linked to a rise in mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and attention disorders. Excessive screen time is also contributing to poor academic performance, sleep disturbances, cyberbullying, and a decline in physical activity and social interaction.
Several countries have already introduced restrictions or outright bans with positive outcomes in well-being and academic attainment.
