Rejected
14 signatures
What the petition asks
To support the HSCP Supported Living Department by protecting specialised services, increasing funding, and raising awareness. Also to prioritise person-centered care, engage council and public, and explore alternative models to ensure continued high-quality support for vulnerable individuals.
Because it is crucial that this service is supported and we need as much support as possible, and need to be heard.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can only accept petitions about things the UK Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about HSCPs are a matter for local authorities and the NHS, not the UK Government or Parliament. Additionally, the issue of healthcare is devolved in Scotland, which means that decisions around this are about something that the Scottish Government and Scottish Parliament is responsible for.
The Scottish Parliament has its own Public Petitions Committee. If you'd like to send your petition to the Scottish Parliament, you can find out more here: https://petitions.parliament.scot/
