What the petition asks
Stop using tax payers money to pay for hotels to temporarily or permanently house people who have entered the country illegally.
People in the UK are struggling to pay for their own housing, utilities and food. Yet we are expected to pay for people who have broken the law by entering the UK illegally, to stay in better conditions than we are.
