Petition
Introduce an immediate ban on social media access for anyone in the UK.

What the petition asks
Ban the purchase or use of smartphones or other devices that can access social media platforms for any UK resident until they attain the age of 16.
There is compelling evidence from may research studies that such access adversely impacts a young person by rewiring the synapses in their brains, leading to isolation, depression and mental ill-health. This causes numerous pressure and problems for the child, parents, carers, society and the NHS.
